Dr. Feng Junlan, Chief Scientist of China Mobile Group, IEEE Fellow, Vice Chair of the China Artificial Intelligence Industry Development Alliance, Vice Chair of the CCF Large Model Forum, Chair of the China Large Model Standard Joint Group, and Chair of the Linux Foundation Networking Board of Directors (2020-2023). Dr. Feng Junlan earned her Ph.D. in Acoustics from the Chinese Academy of Sciences in 2001 and subsequently joined the AT&T Labs Research in the United States, where she served as a Senior Researcher and Principal Researcher. In 2013, Dr. Feng Junlan joined China Mobile, where over the past decade, she has led China Mobile's artificial intelligence team in tackling key AI algorithms and core technologies, building the comprehensive "Jiutian" AI product portfolio that supports over 3,700 production applications. Dr. Feng Junlan and her team have undertaken 21 national-level research projects and received more than 30 international algorithm competition awards as well as national and ministerial-level honors. She has published over 200 academic papers in international conferences and journals, co-authored one book, and holds more than 150 domestic and international patents. Dr. Feng has also served as a reviewer and program committee member for major international AI conferences and journals, and has held 15 roles, including current and past appointments, as committee member or vice chair in academic organizations such as the IEEE.
